Founded in 1987 by Akyaaba Addai-Sebo, Black History Month UK was inspired by a 6-year-old child asking, ‘Why can’t I be white?’. He committed himself to ensuring all Black children in the UK feel proud of their heritage at school and in their communities.
Never Give Up inspires children to be an influence for change, challenging prejudice wherever they see it.
