The teaching always works best in the school hall. If this isn’t available, then another room must be allocated that can accommodate the largest combination of year groups. If the school hall is used for providing lunch, then PopUK will finish the morning session so the catering staff can set up.
The day contains a whole school assembly and a celebration assembly where parents/carers can attend. It is expected the school will organise both of these events as per the school’s policies regarding visitors and also the school’s normal procedure for assemblies. It will also be expected that staff will be available to assist our tutors with the children during the session and also within the preparation for the celebration assembly during which time we will need to set up our equipment.
All teachers involved were so pleased that the project provided the chance for our children to experience singing songs that reflected the values of our school. I know the families really enjoyed seeing their children perform and it was a particular joy for us to see such a turnout on the night. This was made all the more special for us when we saw families present who may not otherwise have attended such events.
Your unique way of working with the children impressed us all. You certainly have a natural capacity to bring the best out of the children as they perform with conviction in such an inspiring way.
With sincere thanks
